I don't recognize the dress at all. It doesn't appear to be a historical dress, and I don't know enough about the today outfits.

It's the rare Addy prototype dress. It's the pattern Addy's dress had on a few dresses that were made before they picked the stripe.

That dress was ONLY sold at MCM, so there's a good chance both doll and dress came from there.
